Advantages of Laufen bathroom ceramics
Laufen is synonymous with quality and design in the bathroom. This is reflected above all in the bathroom ceramics of the Swiss company. These combine tradition with innovation in their production and convince with several advantages.
Laufen Kartell, Laufen Val and Laufen Ino basins are made of sapphire ceramic: SaphirKeramik is the revolutionary result of Laufens research and development over the years. Through it, the sanitary manufacturer made a groundbreaking alternative to traditional materials. Hard and malleable at the same time, SaphirKeramik allows basins with thin but robust walls of 3-4 mm as well as tightly defined radii of only 2-3 mm.
Laufen bathroom ceramics are finished with LCC: Laufen has developed the innovative surface treatment Laufen Clean Coat so that Laufen basins, toilets and urinals look as good as new for a long time. LCC is a silicate-ceramic, glassy coating over the original glaze. This surface glaze is not only extremely smooth, but also as an inseparable part of the ceramic hard and almost indestructible. Dirt, limescale and bacteria find little support on the practically non-porous surface and are usually washed away when the water runs off. This facilitates the care and ensures for a long time a maximum of cleanliness and hygiene.
Laufen basins and bidets have a hidden overflow: The concealed ceramic overflow is the alternative to the usual overflow on basins and bidets. Thanks to the overflow system, which is not visible from the outside, basins and bidets no longer have an overflow hole, which, on the one hand, helps the look of the product and, on the other hand, makes cleaning very easy. Here, the hygienic and aesthetic innovation works quite simply: parallel to the water inside the basin rises in a concealed, integrated channel, the water, which then overflows when reaching the maximum water level in the drain.
Laufen bathroom ceramic is 100% recyclable: the basic ceramic material has always been made from naturally occurring raw materials. Kaolin, clay, feldspar and quartz sand form the basis for the extremely durable and hard ceramic material. This makes Laufen bathroom ceramics 100% recyclable, which is why they can be returned to the production process as ground granules or reused in other industries as a valuable raw material.
Laufen toilets have economical water flushing: the latest generation of Laufen water-saving toilets is optimized for flushing in the dual-flush system with 4.5 or 3 liters. In the private sector with an average of 5,000 flushes per toilet per year, this means an under-consumption of up to 27,500 liters per year. The products marked with a green 4.5 / 3L logo not only comply with the applicable international standards according to EN 997 Class 1 Type 5 and EN 997 Class 2, but also comply with the often-stricter legal requirements in other countries. In order to achieve this water saving, the Laufen floor-WC combinations must be combined with the corresponding cisterns of the option .75x. Laufen wall or floorstanding WCs can be combined with any concealed cistern that complies with the 4.5/3L standard.
