Kaldewei shower tray and bathtub made of steel enamelled

When planning or furnishing a bathroom with a Kaldewei shower tray or Kaldewei bathtub, there is still a lot to be taken into account.

Since nearly 100 years the company Kaldewei located in Ahlen has is successful on the market and convinces thanks to quality, sustainability and design – not at least quality made thanks to the perfect material of which Kaldewei bathtubs are made. This material is called steel enamel and it is a mixture of steel and glass. The combination between these two materials is giving Kaldewei bathtubs and Kaldewei shower trays toughness, robustness, strenght and all what is important for the manufacturing process and installation – optimum ductility.

Kaldewei bathtubs as well as Kaldewei shower trays are as solid as steel and as beautiful as glass - a material combination being developed, produced and manufactured by Kaldewei itself with its own special recipe as well as in the processing furnaces. It is no wonder that Kaldewei bathtubs and shower trays made of steel enamel are the most popular bathtubs in the world.

But it is not only the quality of Kaldewei steel enamel bathtubs which is special, even the design - a design for which Kaldewei has won numerous design awards. Thus, the Kaldewei shower trays were awarded, among others, with the Red Dot Award, the IF Product Design Award, the Plus X Award and the German Design Award, to name just a few design awards for the Kaldewei shower surfaces. Kaldewei shower trays are primarily floor-level and flat. They are available as Kaldewei rectangular shower surface, and even as a floor-level squared shower surface. For smaller bathrooms a Kaldewei quarter circle shower surface is recommended, and for people who prefer angular shapes, Kaldewei even offers an elegant pentagonal shower surface.

Once you have opted for a shape, it is important to decide on the coating and the surface of your Kaldewei floor-level shower surface.
