Space-saving bathtub: small bath tub with bathing comfort
You have a small bathroom, in which a shower is already available and you also need a bathtub? Then small bathtubs or space saving bath tubs are the optimal solution. Small bathtubs are shaped to fit perfectly even in small bathrooms. This means that small bathtubs are cut shorter and narrower than conventional bathtubs. At the same time the bathing comfort is maintained. In addition to shorter versions, there are also space saving bathtubs with an inclined side at the foot. As a result, they can be optimally placed in niches or leave room for other sanitary products. The premium sanitaryware manufacturer Kaldewei offers a variety of small bathtubs and space-saving bathtubs. These convince in addition to their design also with their material steel enamel. This is particularly robust and resistant. Bette and Villeroy & Boch also offer a large selection of practical space-saving bathtubs.

3 types of space saving bathtubs for a small bathroom
Space-saving bathtubs will satisfy anyone's desire for a bathtub - even when it comes to a small or unfavorable bathroom. The practical: Despite their compact dimensions, they hardly make any compromises when it comes to bathing comfort. Depending on the room size and space available different space saving bathtubs match. There are three different to choose from.
Small bathtubs (140, 150, 160 and 170 cm): the simplest solution for putting a bathtub in a small bathroom is to use a small bathtub that is shorter than conventional bathtubs. On average, bathtubs are 180 cm long. Small bathtubs, however, usually start at 140 cm and go up to a length of 170 cm. Accordingly, you can save valuable centimeters without having to compromise on bathing fun.
Space-saving bathtubs with inclined foot end: If you have a problem with a bathtub that is less long in length, but much wider in width, you can use space-saving bathtubs with angled foot end. Here you can enjoy a comfortable length and only have to restrict yourself to the foot. This is often only half as wide as the head end. So the space can be optimally used in addition to the space saving bathtubs. For this reason, space-saving bathtubs with inclined ends are often the ideal solution for niche constructions or narrow bathrooms. And if we are honest: the place at the foot is anyway overvalued.
Sitting bathtub: If you really only have limited space for a bathtub, you can think about a sitting bathtub. Here - as the name suggests – you can have a bath while sitting, they come with a length of almost one meter. And you even have the space in the smallest bathroom. Nevertheless, bathing while sitting is unusual for many and not comparable to the bathing comfort while lying down. But especially for older or physically impaired people, sitting bathtubs are ideal. By sitting position we treat the back with care and set the danger to drown low.
